The previous review said this place didn't serve pizza. Well they did while we were there and it was one of the best we've had in the north country. My husband got the French Dip which he liked a lot. They offered a Summer Shanty which was really good since I'm not a beer devote. Service was great! Our waitress had a smile the whole time, brought the pizza before my husband's French Dip because she wanted it to be served hot! The best yet, I was done eating and a stupid fly kept bugging me and my pizza so our adorable waitress came over with a box without asking to cover the pizza.
!Be careful of what reviews you read! The place has been rebought but not renamed, so only look at reviews from 2 years ago and forward. (Also the place DOES NOT SERVE PIZZA anymore) I live a walkable distance to this place so I am here very often. The ambiance of this place is amazing, there are tons of awesome decor covering the walls and ceiling. There are literal boats hanging from the ceiling. This place has a pretty diverse choice of food, But i definitely recommend the Italian sandwich. It is one of the best things i've ever had. For example, I am mildly allergic to something in their Italian sauce, but i still get it every time. It is that good!!! Their root beer is immaculate, and they also have a bar with a huge assortment of drinks. The service is ok, and could use some work, but i get that they are understaffed and are typically pretty busy. I definitely recommend this place to all people, and is a safe place to bring your kids.
Went for their fish fry. Best ever. Fish wasn't overly greasy. Moist, crispy, and held together very well while scooping out their homemade tartar sauce. Service is prompt and courteous. Clean, homey environment. Lots of taxidermy mounts that kids will enjoy. Family friendly.
New owner is doing a great job. I have noticed long needed repairs being addressed. Menu is tastier and food not oil saturated. We especially like the Frickles!
Perfect lunch or dinner choice for this area. Summer patio overlooking the lake. I've been coming here for years and the service and food never disappoint. Favorites include the provolone cheese sticks and deep fried pickles. Fish or steak dinner. Amazing homemade dill coleslaw and Amish coleslaw. Pizzas are another. Dorito pizza or breakfast are one of a kind. Great selection on tap plus the best bloody Mary's around. Date night, family dinner or birthday treat worth the wait or drive in my book.
COOOLD BEER -- frosty cold glass and a tall Miller lite was much appreciated at this little spot. Plenty of room for our large group of 6 adults 4 kids we had the frickles and wings BBQ & Buffalo with ranch. The ranch was so so good. I had a fry off the plate over and it was so good! Excellent food pretty good service considering our group size and how busy the place was. Would DEFINITELY stop again.
been eating at Fife Lake Inn 20 out of my 24 years of life and they have never failed to impress me. I have personally never been disappointed by this restaurant in 20 years. Even through Covid-19 they have been on the top of their game. The wontons and fried pickles (frickles) are absolutely to die for and I would be devastated if they were ever taken off the menu. We live downstate and make it up here about 6 times a year and getting frickles and wontons are the main thing we look forward to every trip. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat!! You won't be disappointed!!!
Such a great place to stop into when in town. Tends to get pretty busy, but great food and drinks! The Frickles & southwest egg rolls were crazy good. They have a nice patio, but it was was too hott to be outside today. We had a blast!
